Landscaping: It’s time to make your garden shine

uredjenje vrta

Many people immediately associate spring with sunny and beautiful weather, May 1, Easter, but also somewhat common, big spring cleaning. Most of us take advantage of the first sunny rays of spring to clean and decorate our homes, terraces and balconies, and gardens.

Arranging a garden requires a lot of our time, dedication and attention, but that’s exactly where all the beauty of what we get in the end is. It’s time to roll up your sleeves with us and give your garden a new, fresh look.

How to arrange a garden

Below are tips on how to arrange your garden and give it a fresh look.

Trim the lawn

Mowing the lawn is the first step, followed by trimming the fence (the overgrown grass around the fence that you couldn’t mow) because after that comes the first application of grass that will restore your lawn to its healthy and shiny appearance. Of course, you can also supplement by using special fertilizers for lawns that you can buy in all agricultural stores. You should fertilize the grass several times from the end of March with fertilizers that, in addition to the basic ingredients, also contain microelements important for the proper growth of the grass.

Lots of showy flowers

This spring, striking plants are in trend that scream “spring” from all sides, and with which you will enjoy drinking the first spring coffee on the terrace or balcony. Planted in minimalist pots, they will give your yard or balcony a completely different and new look. Give your attention to citrus trees, huge boxwoods and the ever-lovely lavender.

Low and small flowers along the green areas between the paths are the perfect minimalist detail this spring. Guard houses and cacti have always had their loyal fans, so if you want to create a desert look, place a stone planter in your garden that, with just a little care, will bring the exotic into your garden. The stones are IN

Stones as details will give your garden a natural look that we can often see in untouched nature. Select a part (corner) or the center of the garden and create interesting stone decorations, or if you have large enough stones, you can stack them and make “natural” stairs.

You can also use bricks or stones to decorate the yard with flowers, make a path or “build” a barbecue and thus completely change the look of your garden. Not only will everything look much neater, but you will also create something interesting that will attract the eyes of all passers-by.

Recycle

It’s time to change from winter to summer tires, so you can recycle all the tires you don’t need in your yard. Paint them and use them to make jars, plant flowers, or you can use them to make cute stools and throw on colorful cushions for sitting in the garden.

For those who have the conditions, you don’t have to plant only flowers in yards and gardens, but also throw in lots of herbs and plant some fruit trees.
